Sokoban (倉庫 番, sōkoban, warehouse janitor) is a type of game transporting and moving cubes or crates in a warehouse. The goal is to pick up and store the crate in certain positions. The game is usually presented as a video game. Sokoban was created in 1981 by Hiroyuki Imabayashi, and published in 1982 by Thinking Rabbit, a software company located in Takarazuka.
Rules
- Only one box can be moved at a time.
- There can be no overlap (skip another box).
- The player can not occupy the same place in the box or walk on the walls.
- The game is finished when all boxes are placed in the default positions.
